"There is so much power in listening & being present.”

In both my personal & professional journey, I've understood the power of listening absolutely, as an empathetic witness, validating feelings of others and myself, without imposing interpretations or dismissing feelings.

I've had the privilege of working with inmates from all walks of life over the last 9 years specializing in rehabilitation and addiction. During this time, I’ve learned that the question to ask is "why the pain, instead of why the addiction." And, in order to understand people's pain, you have to understand their lives.

As Gabor mate himself states, "in other words, addiction is a normal response to trauma." On a personal front, the understanding of my own traumas, addiction (in the form of food) and patterns not only allowed me to reconnect with my inner self, but also become a source of hope for my clients.

This combined with my time in an Ashram (a powerful energy space for self-transformation) in India allowed me to see the beauty of yoga, nature, true selfless service and meditation in my daily life.

Once afraid to even assert my own boundaries against my parents, I now am in South America, volunteering, counselling and doing what I love.

This is why I am passionate about guiding individuals to overcome their barriers. If I can can, so can you!
